Hull City manager Steve Bruce is wary that his team could get sucked into the relegation zone with 12 games left to play.
The Tigers are four points above the bottom three in the Premier League table, but have strengthened their position by picking up a draw and two wins in their last three fixtures.
"We're not out of the woods yet," The Express quotes Bruce as saying. "We're in a horrible dogfight and there's six or eight teams all in it. Wins against teams in and around always helps you. In a week, we're down to single figures in terms of games to play.
"The result against Man City gave everyone a lift and then we've had back to back wins over teams around us. We've got to maintain that."
Hull will play Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.
