Dean Windass wants Hull City return

Dean Windass has revealed that he would "love" to return to Hull City in a coaching capacity.

The Tigers are currently searching for a new manager following the decision to sack Nick Barmby earlier this week.

With that in mind, former Hull striker Windass has offered his services to whoever the club select as the new boss.

"I'd love to go back whether that be as reserve coach or maybe striker coach," he told BBC Radio Humberside.

Windass had two playing spells at the KC Stadium.
