Neil Warnock hails Steve Bruce impact at Hull City

Neil Warnock reveals that he voted for Steve Bruce for last season's Manger of the Year award as he praises the Geordie's impact at Hull City.

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has praised his Hull City counterpart Steve Bruce ahead of his side's trip to the KC Stadium today.

The Eagles chief has also revealed that he voted for Bruce for last year's Manager of the Year award, which went to Warnock's predecessor at Selhurst Park Tony Pulis

"I think Hull are in the top six in terms of spending and Steve's chairman has done brilliantly for him," Warnock is quoted as saying by South London Press.

"They will be very tight on our wide players and we'll have to work very hard to create things elsewhere.

"But it is a club that is not easy to get players up there in comparison with the likes of London. Tony won the Manager of the Year, but my vote went to Steve. To keep Hull comfortably in the Premier League and get to an FA Cup final as well was incredible really."

The Tigers are looking to end a winless run in the league that stretches back to the opening day of the season when they host Warnock's men this afternoon.
