Half-Time Report: Robert Koren fires Hull City ahead against Huddersfield Town

Robert Koren's fifth goal of the season has put Hull City on course to record their third consecutive Championship win.

Hull hold a narrow half-time lead over Huddersfield Town at ​the KC Stadium, courtesy of Koren's eighth-minute strike.

The Slovenian international fired home from 10 yards after latching onto a pinpoint cross from Stephen Quinn.

Corry Evans and Jay Simpson have had chances to extend the Tigers' lead, but both have been denied by good saves from Alex Smithies.

At the other end, Lee Novak went close to levelling the scores when he shot just wide with an ambitious overhead kick.
