Stoke City to move for Geoff Cameron?

Stoke City have reportedly registered an interest in Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron.

The 26-year-old, who can also play in midfield, has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs following an impressive stint in America.

Meanwhile, Houston chairman Chris Canetti has confirmed that there is interest from the Potters.

He told the Houston Chronicle: "I would say some dialogue has opened up in terms of what it might take to get it done.

"They haven't made an official offer. I don't know how serious they are or if they're just kicking the tires. Right now there's just initial dialogue that's starting up."

Cameron is in his fifth season with Houston.
