SPL reprimand Hearts

The Scottish Premier League have reprimanded Hearts and warned them about future conduct following their unpaid wages.

The Scottish outfit were unable to pay their salaries in September and the same problem arose this month, with manager John McGlynn among those who did not receive payment.

The club also paid wages late four times in the previous campaign when funding from majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov was withdrawn.

The Edinburgh side are still in the middle of a transfer embargo.
