M11 accident causes Leyton Orient, Hartlepool postponement

Hartlepool United's match at Leyton Orient has been postponed after the visiting team's arrival was delayed by traffic problems.

Kickoff at the Matchroom Stadium had been pushed back by an hour to 4pm because the Pools team coach was delayed by an accident on the M11 at lunchtime.

However after consultation with both clubs and the Football League, referee Brendan Malone decided to call the game off at 3.25pm.

Hartlepool could face a fine for their poor punctuality.
