Phil Brown agrees to manage Hartlepool United?

League One club Hartlepool United will appoint Phil Brown as their new manager on Tuesday, according to reports.

The former Hull City boss has frequently been linked with the Victoria Park job and Brown confirmed to Sky Sports Radio earlier this week that he had held talks.

According to Sky Sports News, Brown has now agreed terms to replace Neale Cooper and will take charge of Hartlepool's home match with Coventry City on Saturday.

Hartlepool are currently rooted to the bottom of the League One table.
