Riki out for three weeks

Granada forward Riki is expected to miss the next three weeks of the season with a muscle tear.

Granada will be without the services of Riki for the next three weeks after the forward suffered a muscle tear in the 4-1 defeat to Malaga at the weekend.

The Spanish striker, who has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Granada XI this season following a summer move from Deportivo La Coruna, pulled up with the problem in the first period at La Rosaleda.

Subsequent tests were undertaken on Tuesday, with the results revealing that Riki will spend the next three weeks on the sidelines after suffering a grade one tear in the femoral biceps of his right leg.

Granada currently sit 15th in La Liga, just three points from the bottom three with six games to play.
