Paul White signs new Forest Green Rovers deal

Forest Green Rovers have tied Paul White down to a new contract.

The 20-year-old's previous deal at The New Lawn was due to expire next month.

However, despite having played just one senior game for Rovers, he has been handed new terms until the summer of 2016.

"I'm extremely happy and proud to sign a new contract for next season and I'm thankful to the gaffer, chairman and the club for showing faith in me," he told the club's official website.

"I love playing for the club, love living in the area and love the atmosphere in the dressing room with all the lads. So, once there was an offer, signing a new contract was a no-brainer for me."

White joined Rovers back in 2013
