Manchester City close to Stevan Jovetic deal?

Manchester City are said to be close to reaching an agreement with Fiorentina for the transfer of Stevan Jovetic.

The 22-year-old, who has scored three goals in two Serie A matches this season, had reportedly attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs over the summer, including City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

According to talkSPORT, Jovetic has pledged his future to the Viola for the remainder of the season but is on the verge of securing a pre-contract agreement, which will see him move to the Etihad Stadium in June.

Jovetic has been capped 23 times by Montenegro at senior international level, scoring 10 goals.
