Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic out for two weeks with thigh injury

Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic has been ruled out of action for the next two weeks with a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old picked up the problem during his side's 2-1 away defeat to Cagliari in Serie A on Saturday.

"Diagnostic procedures carried out on Stevan Jovetic have revealed a Grade 1 thigh (biceps femoris) injury," reads a statement on the club's official website.

"The player is expected to recover in approximately two weeks."

This means that Jovetic will miss Fiorentina's Serie A matches against AC Milan and Atalanta.
