Fiorentina have revealed that striker Stevan Jovetic has sustained a muscle tear.
The 23-year-old picked up the problem in Sunday's victory over Cagliari and will now be out of action for up to two weeks.
The news is a blow for fourth-placed Viola, as the Montenegrin will now miss games against AC Milan and Atalanta.
Jovetic scored his sixth goal of the season against Cagliari.
