Fiorentina ease to 3-0 victory over Pandurii Targu Jiu

Fiorentina cruised to an easy 3-0 victory over Pandurii Targu Jiu in the Europa League this evening, with Joaquin, Ryder Matos and Juan Guillermo Cuadrado all getting on the scoresheet.

The visitors were presented with a surprise opportunity to take the lead early on as Eric Pereira got his shot away, but Fiorentina keeper Neto denied him.

It didn't take the home side long to find their passing rhythm and they went ahead in the 26th minute as Gonzalo Rodriguez played in Joaquin, who made no mistake with the finish.

Fiorentina found themselves 2-0 ahead less than 10 minutes later when Matos doubled their lead to put his side in a comfortable position going into half time.

The home side put the gloss on their performance midway through the second half when Cuadrado added a third following good work from Alexander Yakovenko.
