Fenerbahce are reportedly hopeful of signing Everton defender Johnny Heitinga.
The 28-year-old, who made 30 Premier League appearances last season, has 12 months remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park.
Toffees teammate Joseph Yobo spent the last two seasons on loan at Fenerbahce and has spoken of his desire to move to Istanbul on a permanent basis this summer.
However, the Turkish giants have made signing Heitinga their first priority and hope to complete a £5m deal for the Dutchman this week, according to The Mirror.
Fenerbahce finished second in the Turkish Super Lig last season, nine points behind Galatasaray.
