Everton youngster David Henen extends Fleetwood Town loan

Everton teenager David Henen extends his loan at Fleetwood Town until the end of the season.

Fleetwood Town have extended the loan of Everton youngster David Henen until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old Belgian has made seven appearances for the League One side since first joining them in November.

"It is a really important signing for the club and he very much fits the profile of us," Cod Army boss Steven Pressley told the club website.

"He is a young hungry player and he has impressed during his time here so far. David brings that all important speed that I have spoken about.

"We have been really impressed with him, not just in his play but his character too."

Henen is currently with Everton receiving treatment on an ankle injury sustained on Boxing Day, but will return to Fleetwood when he is fully fit later this month.
