Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with Benfica regarding a move for Oscar Cardozo.

Everton look set to miss out on Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo after reports in Paraguay have claimed that Paris Saint-Germain have entered into negotiations.

David Moyes had been linked with a move for the 29-year-old, who scored 20 goals in 29 games last season.

However, Paraguayan newspaper Ultima Hora have reported that mega-rich PSG have now opened talks with Benfica regarding a move for the £15m-rated star.

Cardozo moved to the Estadio da Luz from Argentine side Newell's Old Boys in 2007.
