Everton have reportedly planned a move for Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson.
The 20-year-old has caught eyes with his performances in the Championship so far this season, drawing in rumoured interest from several Premier League sides.
According to Football League World, Everton have become the latest side to target the prospect and are said to be planning a move after the turn of the year.
The Reds fended off interest in the winger from Brentford over the summer, and Steve Cooper is now reportedly trying to agree a contract extension with Johnson, who sees his current deal expire in 2023, with Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Southampton all said to be pursuing him alongside the Toffees.
The Welsh international has registered three goals and three assists in the Championship for the Reds so far this campaign, having previously scored 13 goals and provided 14 assists in 48 appearances for Lincoln City before his move to the City Ground.
