Preview: Everton vs. Lille

Sports Mole looks ahead to Thursday's Europa League clash between Everton and Lille at Goodison Park.

Everton can edge closer to the knockout stage of the Europa League on Thursday night when they host Lille at Goodison Park.

The Toffees currently top Group H by one point after taking two wins and a draw from their opening three matches of the competition.

Roberto Martinez's team welcome Lille to Merseyside having drawn 0-0 in France two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Rene Girard's Lille head to England two points behind Everton thanks to three consecutive draws so far.

The French outfit have failed to win any of their last six matches in all competitions, but a victory on Thursday would see them significantly increase their chances of getting out of the group.

Arouna Kone, John Stones, Kevin Mirallas and Antolin Alcaraz are all sidelined for Everton, while Marcos Lopes and Jonathan Delaplace are both missing for Lille.
