Ghana seal Africa Cup of Nations progress

Ghana have reached the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations following a narrow 1-0 victory against Ethiopia in Mangaung.

The win means that Akwasi Appiah's team finish as leaders in Group C, one point above Libya.

The only goal of the game came on 77 minutes when Kwabena Adusei converted from the penalty spot following a foul on Seidu Bancey.

Ghana will now face the runners-up in Group D for a place in the last four of the tournament.
