Agent: 'Christian Stuani content at Espanyol'

The agent of Christian Stuani has claimed that his client is happy to remain with Espanyol this summer.

Following a positive showing for Uruguay at this summer's World Cup, it had been speculated that a number of clubs were preparing a move.

However, Daniel Delgado has hinted that the forward is not actively seeking a transfer from the Spanish outfit.

"It's true that he had a great showing at the World Cup in Brazil. But he is fine at this club and his continuity here is not in question. He also has a few years left on his contract so it would be hard for him to leave," Delgado is quoted as saying by Inside Spanish Football.

Interest has reportedly arrived from Italy.
