Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy has said that he is targeting an England call-up next season.
The 25-year-old stopper was part of the Euro 2012 squad but was replaced by Jack Butland after breaking the top of his finger, but Ruddy hopes that won't be the last of his involvement for the national side.
"It is always in the back of your mind that you might not get an England chance again," admitted Ruddy.
"It was a blow to miss out and it was a strange injury. I went to gather a ball during my second training session and it dipped and caught the end of my finger.
"But I'm fit and would love to be part of the England squad again, and hopefully, that will happen."
Norwich begin their Premier League season away to Fulham on August 18.
