10-man Cardiff remain top of the table after holding on for a draw at Derby.

Derby County came from behind to earn a draw against 10-man Cardiff tonight.

Craig Bellamy spurned an early effort for the visitors, but Derby also looked threatening in the opening minutes.

Cardiff broke the deadlock in the 11th minute when a Mark Hudson header was saved but fell to Heidar Helguson, who slotted the ball in the back of the net.

The Rams continued to push in the first half but lacked the finishing touch in front of goal.

Cardiff were reduced to 10 men when Craig Noone picked up a second yellow card, leaving the visitors a man short for the final 30 minutes.

The home side quickly made the most of their numerical advantage, Theo Robinson leveling the scores in the 69th minute.

The draw sees Cardiff remain top of the Championship.
