Report: Crystal Palace make bid for Blackburn Rovers' Rudy Gestede

Crystal Palace have reportedly made an offer to Blackburn Rovers for the services of Rudy Gestede.

The 26-year-old striker was left out of Rovers' squad for the 1-1 draw at Wigan Athletic on Saturday amid reported interest from several Premier League clubs.

Hull City are also believed to be interested in Gestede, who has scored 12 league goals this season.

According to BBC Sport, Palace are the latest club to express an interest and they have made a firm offer for the Benin international.

Rovers are believed to be holding out for around £6m - a price that has reportedly deterred some potential suitors and angered Gestede.
