Wilfried Zaha has claimed that Crystal Palace "are playing cup finals every week" as the Eagles desperately attempt to move off the bottom of the Premier League.

Palace lost their first seven Premier League games of the 2017-18 campaign without scoring a single goal, before recording a morale-boosting 2-1 victory at home to Chelsea on October 14.

Roy Hodgson's side then lost 1-0 at Newcastle United, but responded with a point in Saturday afternoon's 2-2 draw at home to West Ham United.

Zaha has said that his team "worked so hard" to net a 96th-minute equaliser against West Ham, and the former Manchester United winger has claimed that every game for Palace is 'like a cup final' due to their position in the league.

"We worked so hard. We did all the right things. We are buzzing and we deserved it. The manager said at half-time that we were not playing badly. The stress must be crazy as a Palace fan. We are playing cup finals every week," Zaha told reporters.

Despite collecting four points from their last three matches, Palace are still bottom of the Premier League table.
