Julian Speroni reveals admiration for Neil Warnock

Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni is looking forward to teaming up with Neil Warnock again, with the Argentine stopper revealing his admiration for his new manager.

Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni has hailed the appointment of Neil Warnock as the club's new boss, calling him the best manager that he has ever worked with.

The former Eagles manager replaced Tony Pulis after the Welshman walked out on the London club due to disagreements over the club's transfer policy.

Speroni, however, believes that Warnock has what it takes keep the club moving in the right direction.

"Over the years people have asked me who was the best boss to work with and I've always said Neil Warnock, and that's not because he is my manager again now," Speroni is quoted as saying by South London Press.

"I had a great time working under his management before and I'm really looking forward to doing it again. He is a manager that knows players, and not just in the area of football. He also gets to know that person, that's key.

"People see what happens out on the pitch but they don't see what is behind that - like a player's family. Neil knows all about that and manages people very, very well."

Warnock's Palace travel to St. James' Park this afternoon for a Premier League clash with Newcastle United.
