Coventry City bring in Chris Stokes

Coventry City have completed the signing of Chris Stokes on a short-term loan deal from Conference Premier side Forest Green Rovers.

The 23-year-old, who plays at left-back, had been on trial with the Sky Blues and impressed in a recent run out for the youth team.

He will now join up with the Steven Pressley's first-team squad for 28 days.

Stokes, who was a youth player at Bolton Wanderers, joined Forest Green in 2010 and has made 134 league appearances for the club.

Stokes goes straight into Pressley's side for today's League One fixture with Sheffield United.
