Coventry City release Dan Seaborne by mutual consent

Coventry cancel Dan Seaborne contract

Coventry City have released Dan Seaborne by mutual consent after signing an 18-month deal in January.

The former Southampton defender arrived at the club in January after a successful loan spell in November.

Seaborne left Yeovil Town for the Sky Blues and went on to play 24 matches for the club, becoming an important first-team player.

Seaborne played 44 times for Southampton between 2010 and 2013, but was sent on loan to Charlton Athletic and Bournemouth after the Saints were promoted from League One.
