Report: Fran Cruz attracting La Liga interest

Cordoba defender Fran Cruz has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for a number of La Liga clubs this summer.

The 23-year-old, who came through the youth system with his current club, is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents outside of Spain's top flight.

However, his contract with Cordoba will expire at the end of this month and as it stands, talks over a new deal have stalled.

According to Inside Spanish Football, Levante, Espanyol and Celta Vigo are all monitoring proceedings with a view to making a move.

Cordoba are currently in the Segunda playoff zone ahead of Sunday's final league match against Mallorca.
