Report: Callum Hudson-Odoi's future in doubt as Bayern Munich pursue move

Callum Hudson-Odoi's Chelsea future is in doubt ahead of the January arrival of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, according to a report.

Chelsea reportedly risk losing Callum Hudson-Odoi for a minimal fee as the youngster looks set to fall further down the Stamford Bridge pecking order.

Despite a string of impressive displays in pre-season, the 18-year-old has been used just four times in competitive matches this term.

Hudson-Odoi made the most of his first start by scoring one and setting up another in the 4-0 win over PAOK two weeks ago, but he is still awaiting his first Premier League appearance under Maurizio Sarri.

The England Under-19s international is battling Pedro, Willian and Eden Hazard for a starting spot in the wide positions, while the rumoured imminent arrival of Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic will see his first-team opportunities further limited.

According to the Daily Mail, Hudson-Odoi may now opt to leave West London before his contract expires in 2020.

Bayern Munich are said to be pursuing a move, while RB Leipzig and Monaco are also in the running to sign a player currently valued at £25m.

Should Hudson-Odoi wait until the end of next season to leave, however, interested clubs will only have to pay Chelsea a UEFA compensation fee, likely in the region of £2m.
