Report: Chelsea preparing Toni Kroos bid

Chelsea have reportedly decided to make a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos during this summer's transfer window.

The German international, who is heading into the final year of his current deal with the Bundesliga champions, has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks.

However, the Daily Star reports that Chelsea are prepared to offer more than the Primera Division side in order to bring the 24-year-old to Stamford Bridge, including a £7m-per-year salary for the player.

It is thought that Bayern are seeking at least £20m for Kroos.
