N'Golo Kante reportedly wants to leave Chelsea at the end of the season in order to join Real Madrid.

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante reportedly wants to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season in order to join Real Madrid.

The France international has made 156 appearances for the Blues since arriving from Leicester City in the summer of 2016.

Kante only signed a new contract with his London club in the latter stages of 2018, and the 2018 World Cup winner's current deal will run until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

However, according to El Desmarque, the midfielder wants to leave Frank Lampard's side in next summer's transfer window in order to link up with Zinedine Zidane at Madrid.

Barcelona and Juventus are both believed to be monitoring developments ahead of potential offers, but the report from Spain claims that Kante favours a switch to the Bernabeu.

The former Caen midfielder has scored three times in 14 Premier League appearances this term.
