Crystal Palace reportedly want to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The French centre-forward is struggling for minutes at Stamford Bridge, playing just 100 minutes of Premier League football so far this season.
As a result, Palace have targeted the out-of-favour Chelsea forward as a marquee winter addition, according to The Sun.
Lampard is believed to want the 33-year-old to stay as he provides a different dimension but could be persuaded to allow the forward to leave in search of regular minutes for a fee of around £3m.
Inter Milan are also thought to be interested in a loan move, but a permanent switch within London could prove a more attractive proposition.body check tags ::
