Scouts from Barcelona are reportedly out in Brazil to watch David Luiz and Thiago Silva in the Confederations Cup.

Barcelona are reportedly tracking Brazilian defenders Thiago Silva and David Luiz.

The centre-backs are part of the Brazil squad that are currently taking part in the Confederations Cup and the Liga champions are said to be scouting the duo in their homeland, according to Deportivo Mundo.

Chelsea's Luiz would cost Barca in the region of €25m (£21m), while Paris Saint-Germain defender Silva is likely to command a fee of around €40m (£34m).

The two players have formed a partnership at the heart of Brazil's defence during the Confederations Cup, although Luiz was substituted in Saturday's 4-2 win against Italy after suffering a dead leg.
