Barcelona have reportedly identified Chelsea's N'Golo Kante as one of their transfer targets ahead of the upcoming summer window, with the player's current deal at Stamford Bridge nearing an end.
The 32-year-old has been a key part of the Blues since making the switch from Leicester City in 2016, although he has struggled with injury this season, limiting him to just four Premier League appearances this term.
Having returned to first-team action at the beginning of April, the France international was unable to help Frank Lampard's side secure a place in the last four of the Champions League - Kante played the entirety of the second leg in their quarter-final against current holders Real Madrid.
According to The Mirror, Barcelona are keen on signing Kante from the London-based club this summer, with the midfielder on a shortlist of potential incomings for Xavi's men.
The report claims that the Catalonian club are set to offer the player a two-year deal at Camp Nou, with the wages Kante would collect being less than what he currently earns at Stamford Bridge for the Blues.
Chelsea possess the option to extend Kante's stay although that option runs out in May, meaning the door would open for interested parties to fight for his services ahead of next season.
