Callum Hudson-Odoi to sign new five-year Chelsea deal?

Teenage attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the verge of signing a new long-term deal with Chelsea, according to a report.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly on the verge of signing a new long-term deal with Chelsea.

Hudson-Odoi was strongly linked with a move to Bayern Munich during the January transfer window, but the Blues ultimately refused to sell the England international.

The 18-year-old had been frustrated with his lack of football in the first half of the season, but he was used on a regular basis before picking up a season-ending Achilles injury against Burnley on April 22.

Bayern were expected to return for the attacker this summer, but according to the Chelsea Echo, Hudson-Odoi 'is close' to signing a new five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Englishman has scored six times and contributed seven assists in 29 appearances for Chelsea this term.
