Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has emerged as an injury doubt for Wednesday's Champions League Group E clash with AC Milan at Stamford Bridge.
The Italy international came off with an abdominal problem in the weekend's 2-1 Premier League win over Crystal Palace to join N'Golo Kante (thigh) in the treatment room.
Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka remain uncertain for the contest as well due to illness, and the former will likely need a little longer to recover after reportedly being hospitalized, but Edouard Mendy is back after a knee injury.
Graham Potter may therefore stick with a four-man backline for the visit of the Rossoneri, as Thiago Silva and Wesley Fofana prepare to protect Kepa Arrizabalaga in between the posts if Mendy is not risked from the start yet.
Kalidou Koulibaly will be an option if Silva is in need of a rest, while Reece James and Ben Chilwell ought to occupy the full-back roles at Stamford Bridge.
Should Jorginho not be passed fit for the contest, Conor Gallagher will be in with a strong chance of coming into the midfield, as Kante's hamstring issue is still giving him grief.
Gallagher - who scored the winner against Crystal Palace at the weekend - could therefore link up with Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount in the middle, as Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz form an unchanged attack.
Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; James, Fofana, Silva, Chilwell; Mount, Kovacic, Gallagher; Havertz; Aubameyang, Sterling
