Harry Redknapp joins Central Coast Mariners as football consultant

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is to join A-League side Central Coast Mariners as a football consultant.

A-League club Central Coast Mariners have announced that Harry Redknapp is to join them as a football consultant.

The former Portsmouth, Queens Park Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur boss was recently in Australia as part of a two-game spell in charge of Jordan.

Redknapp, 69, has accrued nearly 1,500 games of experience as a manager and is also acting as an advisor to Premier League hopefuls Derby County.

The Mariners were A-League winners in 2008 and 2012 but are rockbottom this season and 12 points behind the team above them.
