Report: Hull to move for Samaras

Hull City are reportedly preparing a January move for Celtic forward Georgios Samaras.

The Greek international is yet to sign a new contract with the Scottish champions despite his current deal expiring at the end of the season.

It is understood that Hoops boss Neil Lennon wants the experienced striker to commit his future to the Scottish side, but is aware of interest from England.

According to the Hull Daily Mail, Hull boss Steve Bruce will test Celtic's resolve with a £1m offer when the winter window opens next month.

Samaras, who has previously played in the Premier League for Manchester City, has scored eight times in 23 games this season.
