Ronny Deila hails Celtic improvement

Celtic boss Ronny Deila insists that his side is beginning to look "more complete".

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has insisted that his side are showing signs of improvement following their 3-0 win over Hearts in the Scottish League Cup.

The Hoops have gotten off to a slow start in the Scottish Premiership this season, but their head coach believes that they are starting to look "more complete".

Sky Sports News quotes him as saying: "It was a very good performance. I have been delighted over the last two games, I am seeing a team who works hard and works together.

"We did that on Sunday as well but what we didn't do is open Motherwell up. We were too slow, we had too few penetrative runs.

"Tonight we were much better and in the first half we had six very good chances, and that was against a good team with good confidence. So I am very pleased. I think we look much stronger and more complete."

Celtic will take on Partick Thistle at home in the quarter-finals of the competition.
