Ehmer heads to Carlisle on loan

Carlisle United have signed defender Max Ehmer on loan for the rest of November from Queens Park Rangers.

Ehmer has spent time at Yeovil Town, Preston North End and Stevenage over the course of the last two seasons and is still not viewed as a first-team option under Harry Redknapp at QPR.

The 21-year-old signed a four-year contract with Rangers last summer and made his debut earlier this season for the Championship side.

He will wear the number 28 during his time with the League One side, who are currently 18th in the table, and could make his debut for the club tomorrow night against Wolves.
