Bristol City goalkeeper Frank Fielding has admitted that he is "absolutely buzzing" to have overcome his recent injury setback.
The 27-year-old made just his third appearance of the season in the midweek draw at Preston North End.
An injury picked up prior to the League Cup clash with Luton Town last month left Fielding watching on from the sidelines, but he is now relishing the chance to help City climb up the Championship table.
"I've been really disappointed in the last few weeks with the injury setback," he told the club's official website. "It's just one of those things that happens when you're a footballer, but I'm absolutely buzzing and delighted to be back in the team playing again.
"It does feel like the season has just started and maybe that's not a bad thing. I massively believe everything happens for a reason and hopefully we can kick on now and pick up some more points."
Fielding is expected to start Saturday's match against Reading at Ashton Gate.
