Yoan Gouffran's goal settles Garonne derby

Toulouse have missed out on the chance to join Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille at the top of Ligue 1, as they went down 1-0 to Bordeaux tonight.

The result leaves Alain Casanova's side fourth in the standings with 19 points, three points off the pace.

In what was a largely uneventful Garonne derby at Stade Chaban Delmas, Ali Ahamada kept it goalless at the break after making a brilliant double save to deny Gregory Sertic.

The 22-year-old was called upon to make a number of saves in the second half, but he was finally beaten with just three minutes left on the clock.

Yoan Gouffran latched on to Jaroslav Plasil's well-measured pass and slotted home to win the game 1-0 for his side.
