Doneil Henry to leave Blackburn Rovers, Tom Lawrence to stay

Paul Lambert reveals that Tom Lawrence will have his loan at Blackburn Rovers extended until the end of the season, while Doneil Henry will return to West Ham United.

Blackburn Rovers manager Paul Lambert has revealed that Tom Lawrence will have his loan extended from Leicester City, while Doneil Henry will return to West Ham United.

Both players' loan spells at Ewood Park ended today, but Lambert said that Blackburn had agreed with Leicester to extend Lawrence's stay.

"We've spoke to Leicester and they are happy for him to come here for the rest of the season which is good," Lambert told the club website.

"We are happy to try and extend it so we'll work on that in the next few games.

"I've spoke to Tom in the last few days and he seems to be quite happy so hopefully we'll get that done."

Lawrence has scored two goals in 19 Championship appearances for Blackburn this term, while Henry only made a substitute appearance during his second loan spell in Lancashire.
