Gael Givet set for Blackburn Rovers exit

Blackburn Rovers defender Gael Givet is reportedly eager to leave in the summer after a limited number of opportunities at Ewood Park.

The 30-year-old has not played for the Premier League strugglers since he was sent off in their 7-1 mauling by Arsenal at the start of February.

The Frenchman now wants to leave the club at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.

Givet, who joined Rovers in 2009, had surgery in December to correct a heart problem.
