Team News: Jordan Rhodes shakes off injury to start

Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has been passed fit to start the season opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers despite struggling with an injury in pre-season.

David Raya is preferred to Jason Steele in goal, while Nathan Delfouneso and Danny Guthrie make their debuts for Rovers.

Wolves' new striker Adam le Fondre has to make do with a place on the bench after completing his loan move from Cardiff City earlier this week.

Fellow loanee Sheyi Ojo is also named among the substitutes, but Jed Wallace misses out with a knee problem.
