Bradley Orr reveals reasoning behind Ipswich Town switch

Orr: 'Blackburn unrest prompted move'

Bradley Orr has admitted that problems at board level were a major factor in his decision to request a loan move away from Blackburn Rovers.

The full-back only joined Rovers during the last January transfer window from Premier League side Queens Park Rangers.

However, Orr has been disappointed with the way that the move has worked out and as a result he opted to join fellow Championship side Ipswich Town on a loan basis earlier today.

"There were a few things going on in the upper echelons of the club at Blackburn and I wanted to get out on loan," he told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"Once I heard of Ipswich's interest I was really keen to come down here. Thankfully we've managed to get something sorted and I'm absolutely delighted."

Orr, 30, began his career with Newcastle United.
