Birmingham City have beaten Middlesbrough 3-0, handing them their second straight defeat in the Championship.

Blues winger Chris Burke found forward Nikola Zigic in the opening stages to break the deadlock with a headed effort into the corner of the net from close range.

Marlon King doubled the home side's lead in the second half, finding the top corner of the net after Chris Burke once again provided the assist.

Midfielder Keith Fahey made it three from the edge of the area in a matter of moments to then all but put the hosts out of sight on the hour.
