Bayern Munich defender Dante has admitted that the prospect of playing for Brazil in the Confederations Cup is a prospect that has largely dominated his thoughts of late.
The competition takes place in the player's homeland this month ahead of next year's World Cup and the 29-year-old has said that he cannot wait for the tournament to begin.
"I've been thinking about nothing else for a very long time," Dante told reporters.
"Seriously. I have memorised all of the fixtures in the competition. Almost my entire family will be there. My mother, my siblings and my father are coming so it is impossible not to think about it."
Luiz Felipe Scolari's side will play their opening game against Japan on Saturday.
