Bundesliga club-by-club transfer latest

The elite German clubs will get their respective Bundesliga campaigns underway in a fortnight, but there is still time for plenty of transfer business to be completed.

Below, Sports Mole takes a look at which clubs have secured deals in the past week, and who is attracting interest in the final few weeks of the window.

Augsburg

It appeared earlier this week that Augsburg were edging closer to securing the services of Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul Rahman, but the deal looks unlikely to be completed.

Bundesliga II side Greuther Furth are believed to be holding out for a higher transfer fee, and are willing to keep hold of a player who still has three years remaining on his contract.

Bayer Leverkusen

Kyriakos Papadopoulos has moved to the BayArena on a season-long loan from Schalke as he looks to return to his best form following a campaign spent mostly on the sidelines with a number of injuries.

Bayern Munich

The defending champions finally found a goalkeeper to provide competition for Manuel Neuer, with Pepe Reina expected to sign his contract with the club after Liverpool accepted a bid for the Spaniard.

Reports continue to link Bayern with a move for Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus and Real Madrid's Angel di Maria, while Pep Guardiola has dismissed speculation that Jerome Boateng could be on his way out of the club.

Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund seem determined not to allow another of their star players to make the switch to Bayern, but reports have suggested that they would be powerless to prevent Reus leaving if a rival bids Â£19.8m.

FC Koln

Rumours of a surprise return to the club for Lukas Podolski appear to be unfounded, but adding firepower to the squad remains a priority for Peter Stoger's side.

Hamburger SV

It's been a busy week for Hamburger, with deals being completed for three players in the past few days ahead of the new Bundesliga season.

Johan Djourou has secured a permanent move after impressing on loan from Arsenal last season, while Valon Behrami and Nicolai Muller will both be plying their trade at the Imtech Arena.

Hannover

Chelsea's attacking midfielder Marko Marin was linked with a move to the club, but general manager Dirk Dufner has dismissed the possibility of signing the German.

"We have been looking to sign attack-minded players this summer and we are out to sign further players. We have no interest in Marko Marin, and we will not pick up an interest in Marko Marin," Dufner told reporters.

Hertha Berlin

Hertha are another club who have refused to confirm their interest in a player after rumours suggested they were considering a bid for Fulham striker, but Jos Luhukay has hinted that his business in the transfer window could be over.

Hoffenheim

Roberto Firmino recently insisted that he had no desire to leave Hoffenheim this summer, and the latest news coming from the club suggests that they will reject any approach.

Mainz 05

Muller departed Mainz this week to join up with his new Hamburger SV teammates, and the Â£3m received for the 26-year-old is likely to be reinvested, despite the club crashing out of the Europa League this week.

Schalke

Schalke's transfer business this summer may now be completed following the temporary departure of Papadopoulos, while Julian Draxler has told the club's supporters that he will not be exploring the possibility of leaving in the near future.

Stuttgart

Oriol Romeu was reported to be attracting interest from a number of clubs after being made available for loan by Chelsea once again, and it was Stuttgart who won the race for the midfielder, who will spend the season at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Wolfsburg

Dieter Hecking strengthened his midfield this week by welcoming Josuha Guilavogui to the club on loan from Atletico Madrid, while Luis Gustavo has reassured supporters that he is not being distracted by rumoured interest from Arsenal and Real Madrid.
